“The act of creating does not simply express the self, it shapes it”

Muriel Hofmann-Forster

Registered Creative Arts Therapist (ANZACATA), Zhineng Qigong Teacher, Performance Artist.

I guide individuals and groups toward greater vitality and personal growth through a gentle, integrative approach that blends creative self-expression, somatic awareness and Qi.

My work helps people reconnect with their bodies, listen to their inner wisdom, and discover their creative potential: fostering resilience and alignment with their authentic selves.

Rooted in Daoist philosophy and expressive arts therapy principles, my approach focuses on nurturing energy flow, and using the creative process as a way to explore, nurture and understand oneself and the wider world.

At the heart of my practice is a commitment to holding space with clarity and care, and supporting people in deepening their relationship with their innate intelligence.

I create environments where this relationship can be safely explored and where insight, resilience, and vitality can emerge in their own time.

As the founder and lead facilitator of QiFlo®, I offer this work through community-based creativity, movement and awareness practices. The architecture of sessions - how they are designed, paced, and held - is informed by my therapeutic training, while the work itself remains an opportunity for self-directed exploration rather than therapy.

Participants are invited to work within their own capacity. At times, this work may shed light on areas of life that benefit from wider support, and participants are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support beyond the space when needed.
